Ame grew up on the outskirts of the Skatay Range in a small village.
He grew up close to his mother who enjoyed story-telling and sparked his curiosity for adventure.When Ame was 13, his parents were brutally murdered at the hands of bandits who were led by a powerful Elezen working for the Garlean Empire.The Elezen spared Ame's life, taking him in as a kit and training him to fight while providing him with food and shelter.After several years, Ame would begin his journey as a bounty hunter, carrying with him a debt that seemed impossible to repay.

They call him the one-eyed hound, his senses are sharp, they say he can track down his target from hundreds of yalms away even with one-eye. The hound part? Heard it's cos some noble's got him on a leash like a dog.As a skilled Bounty Hunter, Ame rarely lets a target out of his sights. Albeit a professional, he has a distaste for rules and order and is oftentimes quite selfish.He isn't particularly fond of his job, living his life as a mercenary only as a means of survival.He's rarely found in one spot for long, choosing to embark on various paths that lead him to more thrilling adventures.

He shared Ame's thirst for adventure and eventually left his own home to become his companion. While Ame is aloof and stoic, Onyx is gentle, naive, and empathetic.The two would return to Bozja to assist the Resistance with their restoration efforts."Please, take me with you.
